These acts might seem too ordinary to call rituals: lighting a candle at dusk, bringing some cut flowers in from the garden and placing them in water in a glass vessel on your kitchen table, creating something fragrant simply because it pleases you. But these simple acts change the feeling of a space as well as how you (and others) feel.
Small Rituals is our collection of handmade items that help you bring a little intention, beauty, and joy to the everyday.
Intention Candles
For whatever you are calling in, or letting go.
Pure beeswax candles, rolled by hand, anointed with botanicals and oils, and finished with recycled sari silk. Each is made with a particular intention—to enhance a moment of reflection, meditation, or help you find simple stillness. No two are ever the same.
Hand-Tied Besoms
For blessing the places we call home
Foraged branches, herbs, flowers, and vines, gathered and bound by hand into one-of-a-kind besoms—an old word for the humble broom, and a small nod to my Scottish heritage. Our decorative besoms are made to help celebrate the seasons and decorate your home, not for housekeeping.
Saining Bundles
For clearing + blessing
Hand-bound bundles of mugwort and other botanicals, created for smoke cleansing and blessing a space. Inspired by the old Scottish tradition of saining, our bundles are a reimagined interpretation of an enduring folk practice.
Simmer Blends
For summoning the seasons
Thoughtful blends of herbs, fruits, spices and other naturally fragrant ingredients, made to simmer slowly on the stove, to fill your home with scents of the season without synthetic fragrance. A natural alternative to conventional home fragrances.

Small rituals needn’t be elaborate to be meaningful. Our pieces are made to be enjoyed in whatever way feels natural to you. There are no rules.
